My collaboration with Nick Sandy was so much fun. I know him through his wife/my friend Alyx and our church. What an awesome and talented dude. He made me feel extremely at ease and had great communication skills. Go check out his work and book him for your next shoot!
For this look/scene I wanted to do something with my sister's vintage fur jacket from Urban Xchange and my new bellbottom jeans I got for a steal at Target. In the midst of bouncing setting ideas back and forth with Nick, I heard about a contemporary art gallery/mid-century modern furniture store called Mood in Gig Harbor (where I live). I was super excited because I feel like the store really embodied the "mood" we were going for. From the Edison bulb light fixtures to the record player to the beautifully acrylic painted canvas' to the mid mod furniture and to the kindest owners; this place fit the 70s vibe we hoped for.
